About Allison

Allison has her MSc in Interaction Design from Cyprus University of Technology/Tallinn University and her BS in Sociology from Brigham Young University.

Every UX researcher and designer has their favorite parts of the UX design process. Allison happens to love research. Conducting user interviews and affinity mapping to find actionable insights is one of the best parts of her job! Yes, designs should be beautiful, but they also need to be simple and practical for the user.

Allison has a passion for the outdoors and also enjoys reading, baking, cooking, gardening, and painting with watercolors.

Spending time with her husband, four children, and foster children camping, creating holiday traditions, and reading books together, are just a few things she does outside of her working hours.

If you’re lucky, the family Sphynx cat, Scarlett No’Hara, will make a cameo appearance on a Teams or Zoom call.
